Who's Next?
The mysterious disappearance of USM'ers and the mysterious disappearance of posts about the disappearance of them has me wondering who's next? I'm not naming names (because last time I wrote a post I got numerous messages telling me to stay out of other's businesses), but we all know people who have gotten kicked off this site. Some it might have been a good thing to kick them off... I'm sure there are USM'ers who come here repeatedly curse who just don't belong here. There was most likely a good reason behind kicking them off. But does that mean we cannot write stories about them asking if they got kicked off? What if they really died and we didn't know it? Some of the people who have gotten banned off of there were some of the most intelligent and mind provoking people I've ever met. I will miss their presence there. And it is sad that we are not allowed to talk about them missing there that is why I posted this story here on this site. That I co-own with Taz. I know I will not be deleted here So fellow USM'ers you can use this as a remembrance and a post to talk about those members we will miss.

I saw the post and was replying when it was deleted. i know why one USM was banned... that would be PowerOne, and the person who he was arguing with is still at USM, and recieved no punishment. It was due to a fight on one of my posts with "someone" that got him banned, he told me the story and I think its ridiculous. anyways, I have no idea why Hugo was banned. I have been trying to find someone that has his email address, but I have had no luck yet. Those are just a couple of the banned USMers that I miss... *DizzyME*

Well I told a few other USM'ers about this site so possibly someone might find his e-mail adress and maybe he could post stories here?

UnsolvedMysteries? I've not been there for a while, but that's just me, I'm kind of spreading myself thin at so many talk boards etc., so I haven't been up with the news with USM. I'll have to drop by and see what's happenin'!

Yeah Dizzy, tell us why you were banned and other members can come here and see. Love One Another made a post and so did LSG (she had a funny one about the Twilight zone LOL) I can message them to come here if they want to talk to you.

Why are they banning people for expressing themselves?? Deleting posts or replies takes away the credibility of the author and shows just how thin-skinned people are. Dizzy, I always enjoy reading your replies in debate and you should not be banned!! Alien, COOL SITE!!

I cannot speak for them why thy are banning people. Maybe if people post why they were banned we can get a feel for this. I personaly don't ban people for free speech. However we do reserve the right to edit or delete posts IF they are only harrasment or slanders to a peson unjustly or flame wars.. Most likely they would be moved to the "junk" area of the forum. I don't want you to get scared of posting but I do want you to understand sometime editing of posts becomes nessesary.

This forum allows you to input images from other webspaces into your post with img tag or with your avatar tag IF this image happens to be some image of child porn you leave Us no option but to remove it.

Hey, i was on USM, and do to crappy things that went on in my life I wasn't able to go on the site for like almost a year. Needless the say, i lost my password.. I go back to the web site when all the dust has settled around me to find all this crap goin on there, but i couldn't say anything, because the Godly ones changed everything around, where now I have to pay 5$. now i wouldn't mind, but hey, i already have a account there.. all I needed was my stupid password! do you think they have a button you can email the Gods of the web site? of course not > ... but as i sit here and think about all the crap i saw when i was there, I don't think i wanna be there (to be honest, i liked the fights ) and the only time the fights really accoured was when some one opossed their opinions which they demed facts.. So i went on the web site, looked up "other web sites like USM" and there this site was, but there was one that "they don't want mentioned". i am not sure which web site that is, could be this one ... By the way, Dizzy Me, if you read this, I loved it when you got all the holy ones railed

Well welcome to Club Alien. It's not like that here. We try to have more intelligent conversations with out admins going on power trips. Plus for the most part you can say anything you want here with out it getting deleted. Enjoy

Thanks Alien.. I can see this site is way different then USM, which is good. I personally think that sooner or later USM will go down, only because people are going to get fed up with all the crap. Plus, I like being able, for the most part, saying what I want.. I am not a "G" rated person, but I could be, if I had to be.. But over there it's like you had to watch EVERYTHING you say, or talked about, make sure you don't offend anyone, which most people did get offended if you slightly disagreed with them.. There was so many times I wanted to tell someone off on there for being a total jerk, but oop's can't offend.. anyways take care

Welcome to the new world carrie.It seems now adays you can't even dissagree with someone
and you surely cant tell them you think they are wrong.It seems noone can debate or argue a subject anymore without offending someone.People are far too sensative these days,but people seem to have no trouble mocking,degrading or even demonizing a certain beleif of mine which I won't bother to mention,but they do it on t.v. in movies
and on the radio in music they seem to love listining too.When I meet people who feel this way I welcome the oppertunity to discuss

You are right Carrie, no Message Forum can run the way they do. I think the ONLY reason they are so popular is because they named their website after the popular tv show. (I was looking for info about the unsolved mysteries television show when I found the site) I think that to make everybody pay $5 even if they just want to give one person some advise is dumb. A donations link is fine, and maybe I would donate but if it's required I don't want anything to do with it.

ok, you know how I said I would never pay to use USM, well I changed my mind. The people there are very interesting and I couldn't resist any longer, so I clicked on the USM donations fund link, and I paid $5 and then got an e-mail which contained their e-mail address and so I wrote them asking them for a password, what do I do next, etc, and they never responded. Then I figured out that the USM donations button on the page was different from the donations button on the sign up page, different e-mail address verification, so I paid again. And they send me an anonymous number/letter password and so I go and write and have fun for about a week, then I decided I wanted to change my password to something I could remember, so I did but I must have put my password in wrong, you only type it once to change it too, unlike most people that have you type it twice so you don't mess it up, but now it won't work and there's no password retrieval. I've only been there for about a week, I already paid $10, I feel like I've been ripped off. I think they're a scam. They say you only have to pay $5 once but that's if everything goes perfectly....Really they want you to click on the wrong donations link, and lose your password and pay $5 over and over. :o( I really wanted to talk to those very neat people.

Paying to display public information on a website hosted by an individual(s) is to me just a money racketing scam. No matter how good it may seem in others opions I personnaly would not be a part of it. If they had any true intelligence they wouldnt be this way. But thats just my opinion. Maybe they are just alittle Egotisticle, ive come across many of hese types in the web at chats. and discussions. These are the type of people I would personnaly classify as disinformationalists, that alot of times have no true references or facts to back themselves up with and want only thier side to be heard and viewd. Just like Television does the Programming officials edit out real truth and put in their own.

Guess I was next!

I was "USMOM" on USM and, surprisingly, have found myself permanently banned. I couldn't tell you why as they didn't tell me. I did find it interesting, to say the least. *lol* I was a member in good standing with no problems worth mentioning, then I questioned policy and found myself out.

So....I did some searching and found this site. Thank you for allowing such a radical as myself join!
