I like this movie only because it is so stupid it’s funny. Two children from Gatlin are adopted after one of them kills their alcoholic father, the younger one Eli (Daniel Cerny) is a descendent from the original cult and the older one Joshua (Ron Melendez) is not. They are adopted by William (Jim Metzler) and Amanda Porter (Nancy Ghran) who live in urban Chicago. Eli starts a crop of corn behind an abandoned building while his brother tries to make friends. When they go to school they recruit a whole new group of kids to help them rid the world of adults. One of my favorite lines in this movie is when Eli says “Modest dress is the surest way to a pious life.” Warning: The end of the movie is incredibly stupid. Joshua and his friends battle a giant monster who inhabits the corn field. Rate:3/5 Buy it Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest - (1994)
